OEP8 - Space Policy and Planetary Science

Location: Committee Room 11, House of Commons, Westminster
Dates: Monday, 09 September 2013, 14:00–16:00

OEP 8: Space Policy and Planetary Science will take place in Committee Room 11, House of Commons, part of UK parliament complex in Westminster. The session is co-hosted by the Parliamentary and Scientific Committee and the Parliamentary Space Committee and will be chaired by Andrew Miller MP and David Morris MP.

The event comprise four 10-minute talks from members of the planetary science community, with additional time for questions and discussions.

This is a rare opportunity for planetary scientists to interact directly with policy makers, both from the UK and from Europe. We hope that a lively debate will ensue and both policy makers and the scientists participating will have an opportunity to share information and understanding of each others' priorities and goals.

If you would like to attend, please register with Veronika Raszler no later than 06 September 2013.

The nearest London Underground station is Westminster (from UCL, take the Victoria Line southbound from Warren Street and change at Green Park (2 stops). Take the Jubilee Line southbound to Westminster (1 stop)).

Please note that the meeting will now be held in Committee Room 11, House of Commons. You will need to enter the Palace of Westminster via the Cromwell Green Entrance, marked 7 on the map. Guests are strongly advised to keep luggage to a minimum and to allow at least 30 minutes to pass through security and walk to the Committee Room.
